| Contact fusion monsters are a special type of fusion monsters that do not use cards to fusion summon it like "Polymerization" and have their own special summoning procedure.
A couple tips about Contact Fusion:
-Contact fusion monsters are considered built-in summons and do not start a chain.
-Fusion substitute monsters will not work for Contact fusion, as contact fusions are not considered fusion summons.
-The monsters used in contact fusion are from your side of the field, with the exception of Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.
-You may use face down monsters in the contact fusion, so long as you show it to your opponent before contact fusion.
-Contact fusion summoned monsters may be special summoned from the graveyard, given that they were properly summoned in the first place (Example:Player A shuffles Gladiator Beast Bestiari and Gladiator Beast Laquari into the deck to summon Gladiator Beast Gyzarus, Player B then activates solemn warning, Player A may special summon Gyzarus with Monster reborn, since it was properly summoned the first time.

- Gladiator Beast Gyzarus:
 "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" + 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by shuffling the above cards you control into the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization".) When this card is Special Summoned: You can target up to 2 cards on the field; destroy those targets. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked: You can shuffle it into the Extra Deck; Special Summon 2 "Gladiator Beast" monsters from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Bestiari".
This guy is imo the best fusion monster since he sets up the field for your gladiator beasts and has 2 really useful effects that can give you control of the field.
- Chimeratech Fortress Dragon:
 "Cyber Dragon" + 1 or more Machine-Type monsters Cannot be used as a Fusion Material Monster. Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from either side of the field to the Graveyard. (You do not use "Polymerization".) The original ATK of this card becomes 1000 x the number of Fusion Material Monsters used for its Special Summon.
This guy combos really good with limiter removal, and is unique because he is the only one who can use cards from both sides of the fields, hes like a super poly on wheels.
